Competition Overview
The 2011 Tony Brower Innovation Exposition sponsored by BMO Nesbitt Burns is a North American wide online business plan competition. It aims to encourage and support student entrepreneurs to utilize the skills they have acquired in university and implement their business ideas into a physical, working business plan. Applicants from across Canada and the United States will develop and showcase their business ideas entirely through the worlds most advanced medium: The Internet. The exposition also aims to give students exposure to business leaders from throughout North America, providing the opportunity to translate their business ideas and expertise in different sectors, industries, cultures, and economic circumstances.
TBIE hosted the Thompson Rivers University Campus in Kamloops, Canada. As a SIFE TRU initiative, the TBIE Organizing Committee is glad to translate their enthusiasm for hands on learning to all applicants and stake holders in this year’s competition. The committee looks forward to a stimulating competition environment this year, and for years to come.
